Challenge

Since launching in 2016, the OneBlade portfolio has grown exponentially, resulting in a cluttered portfolio that was difficult to navigate and a communication-heavy packaging design. OneBlade's bold and unique identity was fading.

With a growing consumer demand to be more sustainable, our goal was to stop using blister packs, remove all plastic from our packaging and only use recycled paper.

Solution

The new design system brings back the iconic product's bold personality and reprioritizes information for easy navigation. By Using quantitative and qualitative user research, we were able to scale down communication, minimize the number of design elements and create a clear packaging navigation for maximal effect. Creating more breathing space and stand-out for the bold and iconic OneBlade personality.

We minimized the volume for our new packaging structure and removed all plastics, saving 110 grams of plastic per packaging.
